Day 1 Geneva Airport to Neydens. 16 miles

A straightforward start to this years trip, the bikes and luggage all arrived safely at Geneva and we soon had the bikes reassembled and found our way out of the airport.

I had mapped out a route through the centre of Geneva and out to our campsite at Neydens and downloaded it onto our Garmins so navigation was really straightforward through a range of suburban streets, city centre roads which generally had cycle lanes, out onto some quiet country roads and finally the last couple of miles on stony farm tracks.  It would have been a lot more tricky without the garmins

We’re now settled into our first campsite, been for a swim and about to check out the site restaurant.
